Dr. Prasad

Dr. Naleen Prasad received her B.A. in Psychology from San Jose State University in 1997. She then graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2004 before completing a three year surgical residency at City of Angels/Baja Project for Crippled Children in Los Angeles. Dr. Prasad had the privilege of being the chief resident of the BAJA project for 2 years and traveled to countries such as Honduras, El Salvador and Mexico for surgical mission trips.

After completing her residency in 2007, Dr. Prasad returned to the Bay Area where she lives with her husband, Atish and their baby, Aryan. Dr. Prasad has been in private practice since 2007 and is board eligible in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Prasad’s residency training emphasized pediatric foot and ankle care as well as sports medicine and biomechanics, therefore she has interest and expertise in these fields. She is also trained in the Ponsetti casting technique for the treatment of clubfoot.

Dr. Prasad is fluent in both English and Hindi.
